Gina Whittington
Gina is actively engaged with the Highland Park PTA, where her daughter, Scarlett (11), is a proud Scottie! Her husband, Michael "Stix" Tashnick’s zest for life complements Gina's passion and drive, motivating her to keep pushing boundaries and striving for excellence in both her personal and professional life. When not at school, at a board meeting, or at an event, you can find Gina on the tennis court, reading a book, trying out the latest restaurant, or binging a true crime series.

Gina Whittington is THE go-to professional for creating extraordinary experiences and elevated events in Austin, Texas. Gina has over 20 years experience in the private event industry and was quickly recognized in the industry for her innate ability to curate unique and high touch events for every client.
Gina's creative prowess and meticulous attention to detail have earned her the trust of discerning clients, luxury brands, and Fortune 500 companies. Whether it's an intimate gathering, a lavish wedding, or a non-profit gala, her ability to transform visions into reality sets her apart in the field of event planning. With a deep passion for the industry, Gina is constantly innovating and developing her craft by seeking inspiration from art, fashion, and global trends.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Gina is actively involved in various organizations. She serves on the board of SIMS, an organization that provides mental healthcare and recovery services to the music industry. As well as serving on the board of WIPA (Wedding Industry Professional Association), an organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the wedding community through education.
Camille Ross
CO-FOUNDER
Camille Ross is an experienced wedding and event planner with a passion for creating unique and memorable experiences. With over 13 years in the industry, she has executed events of all sizes, ranging from intimate dinners on a private island to large-scale residential productions built from the ground up.
Camille began her career after college in the luxury event planning industry with Creative Consultants in Austin, Texas. She then gained valuable experience in the upscale and international markets while running a wedding planning company in Grand Cayman. After returning to her hometown of Austin, she worked as an event manager at the Four Seasons Hotel and served as the in-house events director for Hai Hospitality, a James Beard Foundation-winning company. These experiences provided her with a professional yet familial hospitality perspective that she brings to her planning approach, focusing on guest experience and building enduring client relationships.
In 2017, Camille launched her own event planning company, Elsie Event Co. Leveraging her industry knowledge, extensive network, and relationships with VIP clientele in Texas and beyond, she established herself as a trusted ally to both clients and peers. Recognizing the opportunity to further elevate event and concierge services in Austin, she teamed up with co-founder Gina Whittington to form Whitt Ross in 2023, a partnership that felt like a “no brainer.”
Today, Camille is also a luxury travel advisor through Fora, making waves by expanding Whitt Ross’ growing travel sector. She curates unforgettable travel experiences for clients, from honeymoons to once-in-a-lifetime destination celebrations, further enhancing the firm’s reputation as a full-service lifestyle and events company.
Outside of her professional life, Camille is actively involved in her community. She currently serves as the School Board President of TUMC (Tarrytown United Methodist Church) and is a member of the Women’s Symphony League. When she’s not planning events or creating bespoke travel experiences, Camille enjoys entertaining friends and family, going out to dinner with her husband Taylor, and spending time with her 8-year-old daughter, Elsie. She is an avid traveler, a connoisseur of hospitality, and holds dual Franco-American citizenship.
